Perfect for personalized planners, journals, workbooks and more, each flexible plastic coil measures 12 inches long and is made for pages and covers punched with a 4:1 pattern—four holes per inch.

Choose your coil size

• 10 mm (⅜ inch): approximately 70–80 sheets / 140–160 pages of 20 lb paper; 60–65 sheets / 120–130 pages of 28 lb paper
• 12 mm (½ inch): approximately 90–100 sheets / 180–200 pages of 20 lb paper; 75–85 sheets / 150–170 pages of 28 lb paper
• 16 mm (⅝ inch): approximately 130–140 sheets / 260–280 pages of 20 lb paper; 110–120 sheets / 220–240 pages of 28 lb paper
• 20 mm (¾ inch): approximately 160–175 sheets / 320–350 pages of 20 lb paper; 135–150 sheets / 270–300 pages of 28 lb paper

Page counts assume double-sided printing, with the front and back of each sheet counted as two pages. Capacities are estimates and do not include covers, dividers, pockets, or other inserts. Paper thickness can vary, so measure your complete punched project—including its covers—before selecting a coil.

Finishing your project

The 12-inch coil includes extra length for binding an 11-inch edge. After inserting it through your punched pages and covers, trim the excess and crimp both ends to help keep the coil securely in place. Coil-crimping pliers are recommended.
